Hollum, lies on the western part of Ameland and has around 1250 inhabitants, surrounded by beautiful nature and plenty of beach. With it’s narrow streets and many historic monumental ”commander” homes Hollum is one of the most beautiful villages of the Wadden Islands. Hollum is known for its imposing lighthouse with the characteristic red and white colors.
It is possible to explore the beautiful village and island by bike, and you can rent a bike next to our hotel.
